Global Positioning System (GPS) Project

The Hubbards Tantallon CAP Board has received funding for a GPS Project that will promote St. Margaret's Bay to the world. The project will enable the entry of St. Margaret's Bay businesses to be identified on the Google Maps (& Google Earth) so that people anywhere in the world will be able to identify and get information on listed businesses.

At the Dec General Meeting the Membership approved partnering in this project and has identified it as a good 'promotional opportunity' for its members. The intent is that membership in the Chamber will automatically include a "Google Listing" and members' business info, as provided on joining the Chamber, will be automaticlly entered into the Google system, just as it is in the Chamber's Business Directory.

The project has now been completed and is now in the "review and correction" phase by each of the contributing organizations. Once completed it will be integrated into our website.
