2011-12 General Election of Board Members
Our 4th year is almost at an end and we are once again approaching General Election time to elect our new Board Members and Executive for the upcoming year. After a another highly successful and active year, we are seeking individuals who want to work for our objectives, focusing on our members, our community and our goals.
Nominations are now being sought and can be submitted in writing or on-line (see Link below) until Apr 4th. After Apr 4th, only nominations from the floor at the AGM on Apr 11th will be accepted, after which voting will take place.
NOTE 1: Ideally, the individuals being nominated should be willing and able to commit a small amount of their time and energy to working on various committees and helping acheive the goals and objectives of our Chamber. Our success to date has only been possible through the efforts of individual members.
In making this effort, it provides a rewarding method of getting your name (and business) known and giving back to both the membership and the community!
NOTE 2: In order to qualify as a nominator you MUST be a current paid-up member in good standing. In order to be nominated, and qualify to accept the nomination, you must be a paid up member in good standing for the upcoming fiscal year.
Beginning Apr 5, new nominations must be made from the floor at the AGM.
